My education, experience and interests

Teaching is my main occupation. I teach Russian a a foreign language part-time at the government school and part-time with my private students. I devote all my working hours to conducting classes, preparing materials, and developing my professional skills. I believe that teaching requires constant improvement and adaptation to new methods and technologies. That's why I always stay up-to-date with the latest trends in teaching Russian as a second language. My goal is to make learning fun and effective for my students. In addition to teaching, I also spend time on methodological preparation. I create my own materials based on the needs and interests of my students, which helps me tailor the learning process to each individual. This approach ensures that my students receive personalized attention and support.

Philologist (September 1999 — June 2005)

Siberian Federal University (ex-Krasnoyarsk State University)

Obtained the Masters degree in philology. Speciality: Teaching Literature and Russian Language.

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

2007 - ... Russian as a foreign language teacher.

2005 - 2023 I've been director and teacher of NGO Inyaz School (medium-sized school of foregn anguages in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia).

2011 - 2021 I was designing the idea, preparing methodological basis, searching for the volunteers and making classes of the free of charge Russian language school for immigrants in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.

Russian Language Teaching Materials

I regularly create my own teaching materials for my students. These include worksheets, tasks, lessons, presentations and other materials aimed at helping students master the grammar and specific topics of the Russian language course more successfully.

The amount of these teaching materials is so large that I now share them with other teachers and students for a small fee on this resource.

Russian language is logical and not very difficult.

Of course, Russian language is not the easiest to learn: grammar rules, endings, difficult pronunciation of words. But, in fact, the rules of Russian language can be explained in a logical and simple way. It can be possible only if your teacher is well-qualified, creative and expenenced.

Russian language for life, not just a set of rules that you never use.

My students learn to already speak Russian from the very first lessons. I teach modern Russian language (by the way, I'm able to teach also Old Slavonic Language if you need it), which is spoken in the street,with friends, on TV and at work. Your friends text you in this language, speak with you on the phone, this language is spoken in shops and public transport. I am confident that modern vocabulary and basic grammar will encourage you to speak Russian. Then, you can move further: some of you will read chapters from great Russian literature, some will write business letters.

As an experienced RFL methodologist, I have been creating useful educational materials for my students for a long time. RULES AND CONDITIONS:

The first two lessons can be paid for separately, then payment is made atleast for a two-week period of classes. Prepayment for classes is mandatory.
If you are late for class, its duration will be reduced.
It is possible to cancel or reschedule an individual class with at least 24-hour notice in advance. Group classes cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
If the class is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or if you do not attend the lesson, it will be considered paid.
If you cancel a class in advance, you can reschedule it for a later time or day, subject to the availability of the instructor. No more than two reschedules are allowed per month.
I can accept new students only if there is free time. Otherwise, I will put you on the waiting list and inform you as soon as a place becomes available.

15 % of the course fee - organized groups (2 people or more (family, friends etc.)

Last year I studied a month at My Russian School in Siberia. This was an unforgettable experience and I it was a great way to start learning Russian. I lived at host family. This was a very good way to get to know more about the Russian lifestyle. Marina and her son Stas spoke really well English. This was very helpful as I hardly spoke any Russian when I arrived. They really made me feel at home, they were simply amazing. They also knew some people in Krasnoyarsk who spoke English and wanted to meet to show me the city and nature, this was very nice because it's hard to find English speaking people in Krasnoyarsk. They were also always willing to help me with my homework. In case you speak already some Russian (a2 or higher) it will probably also help to improve your Russian a lot, my level wasn't high enough to speak all the time Russian with them. The classes were also amazing. Tanya is a really great teacher, she made the classes really fun and we laughed a lot. And most importantly we practised to speak a lot. When I arrived I knew only a few words and the alphabet, but after a month I was already able to have some conversations with russian people. I really recommend you to take already a beginner course in your own country so you will make much more progress. Krasnoyarsk is a very great and interesting city. And the good thing is that almost no one speaks English so very soon you will be able to speak Russian In the supermarket, restaurant, when buying tickets and so on. I would highly recommend everyone who is interested in Russian language and culture to study at My Russian School In Siberia.

Afgelopen zomer heb ik een maand Russische geleerd in My Russian School in Siberia. Dit was een onvergetelijke ervaring en een geweldige manier om Russisch te leren. Ik woonde bij een gastgezin. Dit was een zeer goede manier om meer te weten te komen over de Russische levensstijl. Marina en haar zoon Stas spraken uitstekend Engels. Dit was zeer nuttig omdat ik nauwelijks Russisch sprak toen ik aankwam. Ze zorgde ervoor dat ik me al snel thuis voelde in Krasnojarsk. Ze kenden ook enkele mensen in Krasnojarsk die Engels spraken en mij wilden ontmoeten om mij de stad en de natuur te laten zien, dit was erg handig omdat het moeilijk is om Engels sprekende mensen te vinden in Krasnojarsk. Ze waren ook altijd bereid me te helpen met mijn huiswerk. Als je al wat Russisch spreekt (a2 of hoger) zal het waarschijnlijk ook helpen om je Russisch veel te verbeteren, mijn niveau was nog niet hoog genoeg om de hele tijd Russisch met het gastgezin te spreken. De lessen waren geweldig! Tanja is echt een zeer bekwame lerares en de lessen waren erg leuk. We hebben veel gelachen tijdens de lessen. Bovendien hebben we het veel geoefend om Russisch te praten. Toen ik aankwam, kende ik slechts een paar woorden en het alfabet, maar na een maand kon ik al simpele gesprekken met Russen voeren. Ik raad iedereen aan om alvast een beginnerscursus in Nederland te volgen, zodat je veel meer vooruitgang kunt boeken. Krasnoyarsk is een grote en zeer interessante stad. En het goede is dat bijna niemand Engels spreekt, daardoor leer je snel om Russisch te spreken in de supermarkt, restaurants, bij het kopen van tickets etc.. Ik beveel iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in de Russische taal en cultuur ten zeerste aan om te studeren aan My Russian School in Siberia.
